weird.... brand new opti acting up

I just replaced my opti with a new gm unit and installed an msd blaster coil and msd 6A box and a new gm icm. now get this...I replaced the water pump because i get everything cheap but brand new...( I don't steal I just get it wholesale) and the car wont start. I didn't touch any ignition wires what so ever and it started with no problem in 1 second and ran for 10 until i turned it off, this was without the water pump installed. Ive tried to mist water near the wires but got no arcing. Literally if i install the water pump on the pins and install one bolt to hold it in, it wont start, it will just beep twice after i disengage the starter. So i remove the water pump again and of coarse she starts and runs better than ever! Sadly i need a cooling system in order to operate the car so if anyone has any ideas or thoughts please share, and thank you for taking the time to read my post.

problem fixed... I cant believe it the cap on the opti had a pinhole in it causing the coil voltage to ground out on the water pump. I tested for this by grounding out a piece of stiff wire to the block and then had someone crank over the motor while i watched the spark jump from the cap to the test wire.
