vats bypass box
Re: vats bypass box
Providing it has not been moved it is located in the dash. While sitting in the drivers seat draw an imaginery line from the right side of your center console straight up to about halfway to the top of the console. It will be to the left of your ECM in a similar holding bracket. It is approx. 3"X5' in size and has a small 1" square connector in the midddle of the box.
I just bought a VATS bypass modular from Painless performance for $58.00. It's a simple install much easier than tearing your dash apart trying to locate the VATS module which sells for about $180.00. Only 3 wires to connect with the Painless module and no more worries about your VATS causing you to be stranded. You can also jumper your starter relay and bypass the VATS.
