Those with F1 and cubes...build me a fuel system

Basically the wife has told me I need to get my fuel system done right and not band-aided/so dependent on meth. I want to make sure it can handle my future wish list of a new cam and an F1. So lets have it. Right now I have stock tank and lines, twin 255 intank pumps, stock rails, adj FPR, 50# injectors, and an alky control near its limits

Put some -an lines on the rails and go -8 feed y-block and a -6 return braided lines to and from the tank. Or you can just run the -8 feed y-block to the rail and use the stock return to save $. Run this parallel of course. The twin walbro's will suffice. Run a filter before and after the tank, I also run a check valve and then put some 83' or 96' inj's and you'll be good to go! See this thread for others comments.

Not a problem. Let us know what you do and how it turns out!

It's just an added safety measure to prevent back-flow with minimal pressure drop. Ideal for use when preventing drainback after the fuel pump is turned off, or when dual pumps are employed and both pumps will not always be running together.

So you put between the second pump and the y-block in the tank or somewhere else?

Racetronix make a dual pump setup, for in-tank mounting. But you could also add a second pump externally. I have one pump in the stock location, and a second pump off a connection at the back/bottom of the stock tank (with internal mods for a "sump").

Fred, what was done to your stock tank internally where you added the connection for your second pump??? Thanks

Yes sir, I already have twin intank 255s. I just dont like the idea of having to crank out outlandish amounts of pressure to compensate for lack of injector. I think I will try an impedance converter and some 96# injectors for now and see if that will do until I do get the F1

Whats the difference between Delphi and Siemens? I also read something about pinlte style and disc style injectors? According to Acceleronics, I can only get 96# in the Delphi. Is there a better injector than these two?

Best would be to go to LS1tech and ask in the fuel section. Seems to be a lot of fuel techies in that section that could better ask your last question.

I also went to LJ for my Seimens 72#. He also flow benched my Delphi 72# Inj which had 2 bad ones. The Seimens are know to have a pencil stream configuration, as opposed to the Delphi "cone" type pattern. Good thing I had them flow benched because 2 were lean.

I don't know. Second Street Speed in Perkasie PA mod'd the tank, while I was working in Italy.

Versafueler and 96# Delphis on order. Now maybe I can crank this pressure back down some
