Surging and power loss FIX

I finally cured a problem I had for a while. I had problem with surging and power loss in my bone stock 1994 Camaro Z28 with 270,000 miles. It was much worse with the AC on & especially bad when going uphill at freeway speeds. I would have to press more & more on the gas pedal & the car would feel like it was misfiring.
I had a noisy lifter & while the manifold was off for the lifter replacement I sent the fuel injectors out to be cleaned. The car ran like she used to! All the surging problems are gone. Now I had a new problem, the car was very hard to start after sitting for about an hour. I checked fuel pressure, no problems. I finally removed the injector rail to check for leaking injectors. Sure enough 5 injectors were wet with fuel!
In my research I found that the Multec injectors that the LT1 uses do not survive cleaning well. I was shocked by the price of new Delphi injectors. I contacted fuelinjectorconnection.com & Jon recommended a set of 24 lb Bosch III fuel injectors. I received them 3 day later. I installed the injectors this morning and I am very pleased with the results. No surge & no hot start problems.
I hope this helps somebody out there.
