Unhappy spirits in my tailpipe

I have been noticing white smoke coming out of my tailpipes lately even when its warmed up. My car has loss tremendous power and can feel a stumble when I start to pick up speed. Anyone have any suggestions as to what this could be and does anyone have a solution to get rid of the spirits in my tailpipes?

If it is constant and smells like coolant, you have a head gasket leak.

Ok. Well there is no other way a constant source of moisture can get in the exhaust (unless it is condensation that has not burned away). The oil can look fine and the intake has nothing to do with it. Smell the vapor and see if it smell sweet like coolant. If you have the vapor when the engine has been run a while and fully warmed, then...
Look at your spark plugs, too. If one or two is real clean, then you have a leaking head gasket. You can always do a leakdown test to be sure.

I smelled the exhaust and it smells more like burnt fuel. Its not constant smoke. I had a blown gasket in my previous car and I can assure you these aren't the same symptoms. My neighbor said it could be something dealing with the fuel. I also noticed like I stated in a previous thread that a black smoke comes out when I rev it up.

Ok, now we have gone from white smoke to black smoke. I would get some live data from the PCM to see how all the parameters are looking.

I went out and smelled the exhaust like you said and that's when my neighbor came out and told me to hit the gas and dats where the black smoke came from so I guess the white smoke was steam sorry but I have been trying to find somewhere that can give me a data log on it

just a shot in the dark, o2's or maybe TPS? If it smells like fuel either way, it sounds like its going way lean then way rich when you hit the gas. Try to get it scanned.
