Spark scatter on Taylor wires

Question guys, recently I got my 3rd Gen. with a 95LT swap in it out for the summer...over the winter I did a Thunder racing OTVC plug wire kit these wires are the 8mm Spiro Pro Series. I have about 1500mi. on the car this year, over the weekend the car started acting like it had a slight miss after looking into it at about 3000RPM and up it looks like a Christmas tree under the hood...there is no chaffing, cuts, nicks of any kind, also all places where an arc is being created you can run your hand down it and not receive a shock at all? Oh by the way this is a Stock ignition system minus a Mallory685 box.

I'm curious if anyone else has heard of any problems like this from a Taylor wire this is my first encounter with them?

Thanks for any input!!!

People complain about them here once in a while. I've heard it enough times to make me never want to buy them. I think it's odd because that name is asociated with Vertex who makes the magnetos that the dragsters have used for ages.

I was a bit shocked myself, didn't think a Name Brand, full silicone, 8mm wire would have such serious issues of shorting in the middle as these do...around a boot or two I would believe I then I could just blame myself, but these are new and never been abused? Definitely been a disappointment so far.
