Spark plug wires

Spark plug wires

changed my plug wires last night. WOW. gunna have to say that was the hardest thing i have done on my car. had to put knees on top of manifold to reach #8.

anyone else have a hard time?

Yeah, try changing plug wires on an LT1.

On the LT1 they are a chore for sure. I truly didnt think the plugs were all that bad but the wires took me FOREVER

sometimes it is easier to take a prybar and break the plug with the wire on it and pull it out as one. you will find changing plugs on an lt1 so much easier when there is only half of it. put the prybar against the base and one light whack with a hammer and headache gone. don't forget the dielectric grease for the wires and copperseat lube for the plugs. less cussing the next time
