Spark Plug Threads

I'm having a problem with my 94 LT-1 spark plugs. The #2 will not thread in. I am trying to run a thread chaser, but it makes three turns and stops dead. All of the plugs angle towards each other...i.e. 1-3, 5-7, 2-4, 6-8. My #2 appears to thread a little straighter than the others. I'm wondering if it is following a cross thread. Does the #2 angle towards the #4...or does anyone have a picture of their cylinder head? I can use a wrench on the thread chaser, but I want to be certain before I trash the threads. As you guys already know....clearance is tight even with headers. I'm working via a mirror and light Thanks

How did the spark plug feel when you were taking it out. Yes it shoud be angled but I dont remember off the top of my head what way it faces. If you cant turn the thread chaser just put a wrench on it but make sure everyhting is clean.
