running really rich...one light from completly rich

my mods are listed. besides the a/f ratio gauge, thats like 20rwhp right? my car is running rich, one light from the last on the rich side of my a/f ratio gauge. well anyway....my friend has a 99z with exhaust aftermarket maf and some other minor stuff. the biggest thing is he has 4.56's yes its not a typo. but anyway i can pull him by a car from the start. and this is me half throttling it through 1st to prevent spin. but man when we get up top he gains back to about a half car on me. even with the ratio he has. well maybe its because i have been running rich?? who knows. are there any of my mods that could be causing me to run rich?

also how do you think a 92 or 93 mustang gt with H/C/I and headers would fair against me?

The obvious answer is the tune. Did this just start? Is your AFR narrow band or wide band?

As far as beating the 'stang??? a buddy has one that I helped him biuld with Trick flow heads and cam with ported intake and all the rest that would beat you easily. Full weight convertible, 5 speed, Nitto DRs, with 3.55 gears and he ran a best of 13.28 @ 107-8.

cool

this guy doesnt have gears. i ran the 13.5 before the relocation brackets and bushings. i also ran it on that old diff. that was shot. lmao i need to post pics of that thing, its a real trophy. but we will see. the afr is narrow band. well i just had put the afr on. but my fuel pump failed on me not too long ago and i put a 255lph. i think that pump had been failing on me for a while now...i had a miss at high rpm that i couldnt find. that was goin on when i ran the 13.5 also. but i fixed that miss when i put the pump in, but i think its too much for my factory regulator

mail order tuners tend to error on the rich side for satey. it could posibly be your fuel pump or regulator. check the fuel pressure with a gauge. narrow band sensors cant tell you a whole lot, on a properly running engine it should switch from rich to lean several times a minute or more.
