I have a few questions requarding custom tuning a 93 Trans Am PCM. My buddy has the car and uses it for road/drag racing and has bought a hypertech chip an is using it, but now he wants to do some different mods to the engine and wants me to custom tune it. Does the 93 Trans Am use a 28pin ic chip like the 93 c/k trucks? Or is it a reflash pcm that has to be reflashed through the aldl port? I've tuned several C/K trucks before with good results so i'm hoping to be able to help him out.

Here's my next question, how much different is a 93 lt1 vice the 93 c/k trucks? I'm building a 383 stroker for my 93 GMC 4x4 and really want to make it mpfi, but don't want to have to buy an aftermarket efi controller. I know the collant system is different and so is the ign, but can it be made to work with the 93 truck engine? if so how difficult would it be?
