OTVC Wire Options?
OTVC Wire Options?
I have started looking at doing headers on my '95, and everyone recommends using an OTVC setup. How necessary is it? I would think it'd be required, as the wires would reside directly under the header.
As far as actual wires for the setup, everyone recommends Thunderracing, and while their prices are good, you still have to terminate your own. This got me thinking about different options where you don't have to terminate anything, and I got to looking at my '99 Suburban. It uses Opti-style ends, but it uses a traditional distributor. Because of this, the wires are longer than the LT1's, so I am wondering if anyone has seen wires from a Vortec (L31) engine used on an LT1 with headers?
