Has anyone had experience in purchasing an opti from ignition_dk on ebay?

IMO $125.00 w/shipping sounds to good to be true, looked at the listing it does not say original equipment (Delphi or GM) it says direct replacement. Since I have no experience with their brand I can not comment. However I can say I bough an original Delphi from thepartsladi on e-bay for about $265.00 over a year ago and have not had any problems with it..

I say this alot but since your getting into your opti you should remove the cap and apply loctite to your rotor screws on whatever Opti you get.

All my opti failures were due to loose rotor screws (3 total):

My stock opti lasted forever+. I took it apart to check it out decided I needed a new one since it was old.

My second opti was an Accel replacement, lasted 100 miles rotor fell apart, one screw was all the way gone, the other was still seated with rotor plastic around it but the rotor was broken loose (the other rotor screw hole was intact and attaced to the rotor, also would notice occasional misfire I assume was due to loose rotor screws before complete failure.

My third opti was an MDS Pro-Billet, same thing happened after ~200miles.

My Fourth Opti was another MSD Pro-Billet which I dissassembled and applied Red-Loctite to both rotor screws... 1500miles later were all good.

Moral of the story, whatever you get just make sure you apply loctite to the rotor screws.
