Is This Okay?

I was out messing around with the Camaro, and I decided to check the fuel pressure to see if I may have a leaky injector (actually, I was looking for excuses to buy stuff for it). Anyway, I turned the key on, and the pressure shot right to 40-41 psi. After the key was off, I left the gauge on for about 15 minutes, and the pressure bled down to about 37 psi. Is this acceptable, or should it stay at the 40 psi a lot longer?

I agree, you are fine. I have run this test many times on my car with similar results. If you have a leak, it will bleed down in a minute or two.

That's good to hear. I'm getting ready to start looking at my split BLMs, and I was thinking that it may be a fuel issue. I still need to do some other things (lash the valves-correctly), but it will be good to possibly eliminate the fuel system.
