no start condition flooding...

i have an 89 iroc that wont start...as soon as you crank it over it floods ive tried ecm, esc, cts, and it has a remand dist. not sure where else to look and yes its getting fire to the plugs and fuel pressure is around 40 at key turn. For some reason this all started when i swaped roller rockers out and ive checked them back over nothing seems out of place. Doubt its related anyways.

has it started and run since you last had the distibutor out?...If not it could be 180 off.....I would think it is timing related first, If the plugs were drenched I would try new plugs and see what it does after that.

Have you had someone to check it with a timing light while you crank it...to see if you are even in the ballpark?

i checked and rechecked the timing and i did have it 180 off when i first put it back in. I did get it to back fire when i had it one tooth off after correcting it from being 180 but thats it. When i put it back right there was no can no sign of starting. I havent tried new plugs i was gonna try that next i have taken them out and cleaned them only to have it do the same thing no sign of starting instant flood i would at least think it would do something. I did try a light on it, it was getting intermitent fire and wouldnt light long enough to get a reading thats why i went ahead and got a new distibutor for what seems like no reason.

Rick it floods soon as you try to crank it....like the pulse width is too wide or something.....

Have been throwing parts at this car for years.....it also has a reman pcm, tried different chips, mafs etc

The car is a 89' L98 motor, hot cam, headers, have tried different FPR's, new pump, it has always had this problem......

I don't understand how the 89 works without the 9th injector like the previous tpi systems...If it is using more PW what causes it to do that?
Could something be giving it just wayyy too much fuel for some reason?

Fuel press is right on target also.

you can also unplug injectors, clean plugs again and try running car with starter fluid just to see if it will run and then go from there//check to see if you have any vaccum leaks that could be causing more gas to be dumped(stuck open egr could do that)not saying that is it but gives you somewhere else to look
