No power to anything.

She died on me at sonic last week, no power to anything. Minus windows radio and headlights. Replaced ignition cylinder, to no avail. Bought a new ignition switch but I don't want to pull the whole column to replace it. How would I go about wiring in a push button that doesn't need the key in the cylinder? I know how to bypass vats, so no worries there. I just wanna get back out on the road. Walking to work sucks. Thanks guys.

Any codes? Believe the pcm will shut down certain things and will set a code.

Whole lot easier just to replace the ignition switch. You don't have to pull the column, if you don't want to.

Can't tell if its throwing a code or not. No fuel pump prime, no dummy lights nothing. I turn the key and it just clicks.

Re: No power to anything.

You have to scan the PCM for codes. There are codes that can shut the engine down but do not turn on the SES light. But this doesn't sound much like a "code" problem. Sounds like a wiring or switch problem.
