need helps guys

got a 93 last week the fuel pump quite so i repalced it with a delphi 225 once in it started rite up but when i drove it it would dont run no power like it was lean . replaced fuel filter still no better . check pressure got 45 at prime and at running . have i missed something ? all help would be great . oh btw no check engine lite on . thanks

Check the fuel pressure on the road, at max RPM/WOT. It should hold at least 40psi under those conditions.

With the engine at idle, the only time you should see 45psi is with the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator. With the vacuum line reconnected, pressure at idle should drop about 6 to 8psi. Sounds like your vacuum compensation line might not be connected.

ok fix the fuel pressure problem , but still has no power in fact in park if you just stab the gas it falls rite on its face . before the fuel pump went it ran fine .
