When I purchased my 96 z28, the seller included a set of MSD 8.5 wires, part number 32149. Here is a very stupid question, when I opened the box up, there were 10 wires in there, 8 long ones, and 2 short ones. I thought I only needed 8?

 

You need 8 for the plugs and 1 for the coil. There were two different versions of the coil wire and the set includes them both, so they only have to stock and sell one wire set.
