Megasquirt! Anyone use this fuel injection?

I'm thinking this would be a good way to keep my Vortec Crate TPI motor running its best.

Does anyone here have any opinions about this system?

This system allows you to use a laptop to tune yourself.

Although I ultimately decided on the Bigstuff-3 system, the Megasquirt system is worth looking into. Very reasonably priced and will work with several applications. There are a few guys on this board using the Megasquirt system. If you haven't already, try doing a search. You probably want to research a TPI type application to ensure it is compatible.

it is true what boosted posted its is supposed to be way more cost effective and way more workable also you just have to put the system together by sodering it all together.

diyautotune.com sells soldered/tested units assembled. Totally a possibility.

Either way there is a *lot* to learn about megasquirt before using it. While flexible and powerful, it is more meant for the person that wants to tinker and learn than just a simple solution.

In terms of running "best" I dont know what gains there would be between the two, so its hard to say.

I'd also say wait another 6 months till the next gen hopefully comes out. It'll have some different features to look at and may also effect prices.
