LTCC setup
Yes, it is a great upgrade, especially if your Opti-spark system is in need of replacement. Costwise, it depends on where you purchase the coils and hardware. I really liked the LTCC system when I was running it on my LT-1 and it had a few capabilities that the Delteq didn't. Be sure to read the information on both their websites so you can make an educated decision.

The interface box and harness is $399. You will need 8 coils GM #12558948 will work. Sometimes you can find the LS-X guys selling them. Check E-Bay, or you can purchase them from here: http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ for $37.50 each. You will also need a set of universal style ignition wires and accessories for the wires. Additionally, you will need to fabricate or purchase some coil brackets to mount the coils to the car.
Boosted Z pretty much nailed the price. I'm using Magnecors 10.5 mm wire custom made so add $100 for that. The coils you should be able to pickup used but I bought mine new. I used the relocation brackets sold by Thunder Racing for LS1 cars and modified it. $60 there. You also need to consider what to do with the opti. I chose to convert my Dynaspark to a Gen III version. You can use the opti but I didn't like the idea of leaving the rotor in there in case it broke up and took out the sensor. So, you can leave as is or pull the rotor out and have a bushing made to replace the rotor.
