lg4 305 computer to hei non computer swap.

I got a question that no one seems to be able to help me with. I have a 1986 LG4 305 computer controlled engine in a 79 camaro. I put in a hei Msd streetfire distributor. Since the motor has its timing tab at the top, what base timing should I start at?. The motor is bone stock inside wither the usual headers, 4bbl, intake upgrades. Any clue on how much timing a stock LG4 1986 305 from a firebird can take WITHOUT the computer controlling the timing?
Thanks guys.

update. Factory timing with out the OBD seems to work just fine. Mechanical +vacuum advance would be around 60 total advance. I would say push it up until it starts pinging then back off 5 degrees to swag it.
