Lean?

When a fuel pump is going out while driving does this cause a lean condition? This happened to the truck while coming home the other day. Drove it for about two miles at 35 mph because of the lack of power. Then the motor shut off about a mile from home with the wind chill some where around 30 below. I just wondering if there is a bigger problem with the motor just aroud the corner? Thanks for helping.

Just change out the pump, it'll be fine.
