Leaking Injectors

Lately the car has trouble starting. Cold it takes about 2-3 cranks to turn over. Warm about 5-6. The fuel filter was changed about 15 miles ago. Is this a sign of leaking injectors or a fuel pump about to quit?

Check your fuel pressure, but turning the key to on, letting the pump prime, then watching the fuel pressure to see how fast it falls off. If it drops quickly, it will make the engine hard to start. It could indicate:

-leaking injectors (pull rails, pressure system, look for drips)

-faulty fuel pressure regulator (pull vacuum line off FPR, look for fuel in the line)

-faulty check valve in the fuel pump (difficult to pin down)

-leaking fuel lines
