Injectors size?

383stroker, stage3heads, ported intake, built 4l60e, 3200stall, 3.23s, compcam"xfi292", fully upgraded valvetrain, truedualxpipe no cats dumped at rear axle with bullets, custom pcm tune, blah blah blah lots of other little goodies....anyways looking at around 400 to 450 rwhp what size injector would be best..also do i need to upgrade my fuel pump? i also have aeromotive fpr. Im also trying to figure out the best spark plugs ohh and finally do i need to invest in a new starter?

Fuel injector size is based on flywheel HP, not rwHP. Assuming an 18% loss through the 4L60E, you would be talking about a peak flywheel HP of about 450/0.82 = ~550 flywheel HP. My rough sizing criterion is to multiply flywheel HP by 0.07 to get the minimum size injector that should be considered.

550 x 0.07 = 38.5 #/HR.

If you are shooting for the lower 400 rwHP, a 36 #/HR injector would suffice. For the high end, just go for a 42 #/HR injector.

You can run a higher fuel pressure, and run a smaller injector, or run a higher pressure with the sizes I indicated, and have a lower duty cycle. There is no reeason to have an AFPR, unless you plan to increase fuel pressure above stock. Do a "search" on the Aeromotive AFPR. Several years ago they offered free replacements because of some materials of construction problems with the LT1 AFPR's. You should definitely be looking at a fuel pump upgrade, if you are still running the stocker. The popular 255 LPH pump would be a good replacement.

injector choice?

ok i am trying to decide between the accel 36#, 40#, or 44#. Is the 14.4 ohms for the 36#vs. the 12 ohms for the 40 and 44 gonna make a difference? Also looking at the Venom 36, 40, and 42# injectors...what would your suggestion be...oh and i decided to go with the aeromotive fuel kit for the lt1
