The '94 Z wouldn't start the other day. Did some testing and figured it to be the key or switch. It would crank but no spark out of coil. It was acting like other previous experiences on Camaros that wound up being the switch.

I took an ignition switch and key from a steering column that came out of my '94 Firebird a couple of years ago. (broken turn signal internals). I know the ignition was good in this column. I installed this in the Z and it is still a dead Z. It now however won't crank but I do have power to the windows and radio, ect., just no cranking whatsoever.

? #1: Do I need to get a key cut for this different switch with the same resistor as the Z/28's previous key?
