Put a vacuum pump on the vacuum compensation port and see if it will hold a vacuum. Try holding it at about 20"Hg.

There should be a port on the regulator where a vacume line goes (will be a small bubber line that goes from the intake manifold to the fuel pressure regulator). That is where you should hook up the vacume tester.

I called Kirban Performance where I got the regulator and he was very helpful. He told me that all a reg is nothing but a spring and diaphram...and even if there was a hole in it and would not hold pressure the car would have a very hard time firing up if at all.......says he is 100% percent sure that my problem is my injectors but if for some reason it was the then he would replace it..

Glad to hear Kirban was helpful to you. What exactly is the problem you are having?
