Question Help repair fuel tank Holes.

I tool my tank out to replace my fuel pump and when I got the tank out I saw two holes on it.

I did some research and found out that the dumb kid that owned my car before I bought it mounted an amp because I pulled up the carpet and saw the holes.
How stupid can you be you know the gas tank is there.
O well what is the easiest way to fix it?
I was thinking of using some epoxy and gluing a small piece of sheet metal over each whole.
Thanks,

That might just work. There are places on line selling aviation supplies and they have genuine fuelproof epoxy if you wan to go all the way, otherwise use some quality epoxy and make a foil patch or something like you suggested. The other thing you could do is put some epoxy on a screw and just plug the holes with a tight fitting screw.

OMG I cant believe it didn't leak down onto the muffler and catch fire. LOL Whatever you do make sure the tank holds pressure. If you don't all your fuel will slowly evaporate.
