help identifying injectors

I bought a set of injectors advertised as SVO 36 lb injectors.

After installing my stroker with these injectors, my car is running horribly. It's rich to the point of bogging and smells like fuel. I've chased vacuum leaks, checked the ECT, 02 sensors, replaced the MAF with a known good one etc. All that was running great before the stroker swap. I have been assured that my tune is correctly set for the injectors by my tuner.

Do these look like SVO 36 lb injectors ? Do all 36 lb SVO injectors have a dark blue top (I can't find a picture of one) because I don't find these look dark blue at all. I'm guessing there's something wrong with the injectors, the tune or both.

Is there a way to test if an injector is sticking open ?

Any part #'s on them?

To check for an injector stuck open, pull the fuel rails with the injectors intact, pressure the fuel system. Look for drips.

yes, I'll check it out when I get back. The only other place I've seen similar injectors was on a post on ls1tech.com but it's still inconclusive.

Found the tune didn't account for svo injectors (if they are indeed 36# SVOs) being at a lower pressure. Could the difference between 39.2 PSI for the SVOs and 43.5 PSI for the GMs cause it to run rich to the point of bogging at idle ?

The flow rate difference due to the difference in the pressure used for the flow rating is 5.4%. That's not enough to cause the problems you are seeing. The PCM can pull out up to 15% fuel using the long term fuel corrections.

Check this list:

http://users.erols.com/srweiss/tableifc.htm

Go to the "FORD" section (more than 1/2-way down the list). There are a lot of injectors that have the "9F593" in their designation. Looking through the list, you may find a tie to one of the other numbers as well.

thanks. the tuned was changed to account for the ford PSI. It helped a lot but it still needs a little tweaking. It still has an erratic idle and runs a bit rich.

I couldn't find any injector that matches it.
