Fuel tank question

I just dropped the fuel tank in a '94 Z28 and noticed a tiny hole on the top of the tank. It appears not to be a rust hole or damage and looks like maybe production. Is this normal?

Now that I look at it again it looks like a puncture.

almost looks like a screw hole. did you mount anything on the "hump" between the trunk and backseat? i know one guy used too long a screw to mount an amp and did something like that. looks small enought to block off with some silicone.

That could me. I bought this car wrecked and from the looks of some of the things the previous owner did I wouldn't be surprised. I'm going to have to fix that.
