Fuel Supply lines

Somehow a few years ago I managed to break free of the itch to keep modding my car and so have not worked on it much other than routine maintenance and thus have not been on any forums in a while...

Anyway on a normal drive to work for some reason a fuel line ruptured under the driver seat, I think it's the larger supply line but I haven't had the car up in the air yet to properly get under it. No idea why it sprung such a huge leak I didn't drive over anything, maybe just the effects of time on plastic.

Anyhow the dealership wanted $128 for the fuel line bundle, he even printed a diagram of the components to make sure we were talking about the same section of the line. I took the part number and went on GMpartsdirect and they only want $65 but the shipping is $60! So no savings there really. Is this right? I was expecting $50 total, I know the front section of the plastic line that connects to the fuel rail is only $30ish. Do I have the wrong part number? Is there a cheaper aftermarket option? I've been searching online and couldn't anything, it seems most people's fuel line problems are every other component in the system besides this.

If the part is plastic that is leaking, it must be the cheap forward hoses, because the other pipes to the rear are metal.

it's definitely plastic that's why I was expecting it to be cheap. The part number the guy at the dealership gave me is 10295276. Maybe he gave me the part # for the hard line too far rear?

I'm sure you could tell by looking.

yeah that must be the part # for the hard steel lines, gmpartsdirect and other sites never give a picture or much description of the items. I found a different part # that other people used for the front plastic lines and the price is much more to my expectations Hopefully this project doesn't reinfect me with the modding bug when I get under there and start seeing other things I can change out...

Look at Shoebox's "signature".

Click on the "Part numbers" link.

When the page opens, hit Ctrl + F.

In the "Find" box that opens, type "fuel".

Keep hitting "next" until you see "1994-1997 front flexible fuel supply lines" with the part number immediately to the right.
