Fuel Injectors

I finally found out that I have a injector in #7 going bad. The local auto parts store has a replacement for 85.00,but I see that some places sell them as a kit of 8 for around 220.00. What's the difference? Some are high impedance and some are low impendance..What lbs are our injectors anyway? They have from 19-55 lbs. I was thinking that since one is going bad that maybe I should have them all replaced. Thanks

The stock injectors are 24#ers. Maybe one of these gentlemen can get you a single injector cheaper:http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#Dal_and_Jason Otherwise, it is your call if you want to replace them as a set with a good aftermarket alternative such as the Racetronix or Ford SVOs.

The ones I saw were made by Venom.
Are these the ones?

Here is the link, sorry they are Delphi/Lucas injectors sold under the Racetronix name: http://www.racetronix.com/621048.html I don't know anything about the Venom injectors, I see Summit selling them but I have heard no feedback regarding them. Aftermarket injectors such as the Racetronix or Ford SVOs are the popular choices.

So those would be a direct replacement for the factory ones? I can get 8 for around 295.00,which doesn't seem bad to me.

Those will bolt right in, you may want to contact them first to see which ones they recommend as they have two different listings for the 24#ers.
