Unhappy FI or Carb

hi i was just curious if anyone knew which was better for street strip applications. ive got a 750HP carb and a victor intake on my sb. i was thinking about going to fuel injection. anyone got any tips or advice. i seen a victor intake in summit set up for FI, but i dont know jack about FI. so any tips would help, i was thinking either the Holley FI or Edelbrock. but my sb is at 530 hp with no nitrous or anything. i would like to be able to make the same power.

First question....WHY?

Your going to throw away a few grand just so you can get 4 more MPG.

If the car is not a DD than I'd keep it carb'd just b/c of the cheapest HP per dollar ratio.

Not to mention you probably wont be able to tune in,so you'll have to take 6 months to figure out how to tune it and another couple months getting good at it. And to tune it you'll need a cable and buy a lap top, AND buy the tuning software!

yeh im not the most computer literate person you can find. my car actually gets about 18-20mpg with my highway gears, plus ive got fiberglass doors, frontclip, hood and all lexan windows. so its alot lighter than she used to be. my best 1/4, was 10.75 cant remember the speed though. i think it was 145-150mph. or somewhere in there. but i dont care for the drags.
