Do I go Bigger???

Got car tuned and it put down 438 RWHP. The dyno tech said I need to go with a 60 lb injector because im running out of fuel at WOT. The car is procharged with 6lbs of boost. He has me at an 11.9 AFR at 5,200 rpm. After 5,200 the car's A/F goes up. He dosent want me to shift above 5,200 until I get bigger inj. What about a boost referance fuel regulator. Does this sound right???

A boost referenced FPR raises the fuel pressure in proportion to boost. As boost goes up, the fuel pressure goes up. As the fuel pressure goes up, the effective injector size increases. If for example you use a 42 #/HR injector (mentioned in your other post as what you are running) that is flow rated at 43.5psi (3bar = stock LT1 fuel pressure), and increase the pressure to 58psi (4bar) the injector will flow 48.5 #/HR.

You should continue to post in the same thread you already started, so people know what information you have already received, and what responses you provided to the questions.

My rough calculations show that you should be OK with a 42 #/HR injector, but that requires I assume an efficiency of your engine in terms of fuel consumption (BSFC) and that is just a guess. You might want to try this thread in the "Forced Induction" forum, since that's where all the S/C experts hang out. When you post there, include links to the posts on this forum.
