Delteq alternate mounting

Have any of you mounted the Delteq coils on the radiator shroud? Any problems with water getting on them when driving in the rain? I have mine on my valvecover now, but I put taller valvecovers on to clear my Jesel shaft mount rockers and things are getting a little crowded now. Has anyone tried mounting them on the intake a little further back? Just wondering if that would be subject to more heat and cause problems.

I've had mine mounted on the radiator shroud for 2 yrs now with no problems. The coils are sealed anyway even if they did get wet. Its a very clean install and delteq has a bracket for mounting it there. Its a pain when you need to remove the fan shroud because you have to unplug all the wires. Other than that its a good place.

Mine was mounted cross-wise on top of the Intake manifold (back when the car was still in one piece). I've got pictures somewhere. Just took 2 pieces of aluminum, drilled 4 holes in each; 2 for the Fuel-Rail bolts, and 2 for screws into the aluminum plate that came with the Delteq kit.

Mine were under the radiator for 3 1/2 years with no problems. I made no effort to keep them dry and the car was driven in rain with large amounts of water on the street all the time.

Don't worry about it.
