Question Crossfire & TBI distinction?

I have heard the terms used interchangeably, but what is the tech difference between F body Crossfire and TBI on humble 4 cylinder cars like Fiero, Cimarron etc.? Was the system on the '82 Z28, just 2 x what was on the base 90 hp 2.5 liter TBI Camaro?

F-body

Same thing..... just two throttle bodies with injector, instead of one.
