Exclamation Crane HI-6R box

I'm stumped here. Brand new box and not a PNP setup so I had to wire it up myself. Using coil part # 730-0491. Plugging straight into the coil the car fires up no problem. Hook the HI-6R up using adapter harness 6000-6708 and it doesn't do a thing. New error codes are stored are flashing on the box either. It has pwr while cranking too. I had to use this pdf file to print their instructions but I'm using figure 1 here http://www.cranecams.com/pdf/90006400a.pdf

I also used this pdf file figure since it seems to reflect the LT1 setups figure 5 http://www.cranecams.com/pdf/90006000d.pdf here. I'm freaking stumped and frustrated as I've been dealing w/ this issue since I bought it over a month ago. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Maybe it's just a typo, but when you look on page 5 of the second PDF file you posted http://www.cranecams.com/pdf/90006000d.pdf it states you need to use P/N 6000-6709 for LT-1 applications. You listed that you used adapter harness #6000-6708??? Also, figure 6 on page 9 of the same PDF document shows an LT-1 set-up.

Well if you look at there are two different harness's. 6709 is for the later LT1's and 6708 is for the earlier models. Notice the plug pigtail for 6709 and dual plug for 6708? Totally different and the 6709 is a 3 wire setup. You being a 96 I'm not sure if you use the same coil as I do but I believe you don't.

Now if it's saying "GM OE harness uplugged from coil" and that plug they are referring to is connecting to the ICM then that's a different story but that isn't the case as my harness is a dual plug setup and not the weather pack pigtail connection as in the 6709.
