I installed a new IAC valve to fix a slight miss I was having at low rpm's. The idle improved but I noticed a slight surge afterwards when cruising and the car felt like I was driving with the parking brake on. Still trying to fix the idle, I checked the EGR valve and noticed it wasn't holding vacuum so I replaced it. Now the idle is better, if not fixed, but the surging is worse at cruising speed. I also noticed the surging while acceleration. What could be causing this?

 

You need to provide specific info about the car - year, model, engine, trans and any major mods.

Why not add a "signature", with that basic info in it.
