Unhappy Camaro ss 97 problems start after change injectors !!!

Hi ,i have change my stock 8 injectors because have a misfire in cylinder 7 ! after this my car run 1/2 mile and stall and start intermitent with the gaz pedal on the floor !!!! All of my 8 injector is remenufactured . The flow rate of my new injectors is 24 lbs 276 cc/m ,,, im not sure is ok ??? my car dont run please help

The important thing is the flow rate and changing the computer to the correct size if it changes. If you have a specific misfire you can change the injector with another cylinder and after resetting the pcm, wait to see if it moves. Don't just throw parts randomly, since a misfire can be so many different things. You came to the right place for help!

thx ! today i plug a obd 2 and the code p0100 (the only code !!) detect ... anyway ,if i install a regulator fuel pressure adjustable for decrease my fuel pressure around 39 psi ,my car restart ? or better option is buy 8 new injectors ? thx in advance !!

The system does not work that way. Unless you have a heavily modified car there is no benefit from the adjustable regulators, in fact they usually mess things up way worse.

Today i reinstall all of my 8 stock injector 24 lb/h 252 cc/m after cleaning and change o'ring.The car start but with the pedal gas in floor !! the car don't run good!!! The idle is 1300 rpm !! (not normal for me) The problem is that as soon as I touch the gas pedal the car hesitates and stop to turn ! and now the cap gaz made ​​no noise at unscrewing
. Only good new, i don't have obd2 codes on the car!: O thank you in advance for advice! Toto

Monday ,i want change the regulator pressure .... i guess that is the problem!??!! or a bad pump fuel ....

You should check the fuel pressure first. They are cheap and will tell you what is going on. The test will verify if the regulator might be bad.

If you had a misfire on cylinder #7, why did you assume it was an injector and change all eight of them?

What brand injectors did you buy? 24#/HR is the correct, stock replacement size, and computer programming is not an issue. But a 276 cc/min injector is 26 #/HR, not 24 #/HR. A stock injector is actually programmed as 24.9 #/HR = 261 cc/min.

Are you sure you put the correct injector harness connector on the correct injector - the harness connectors are numbered?

How did you determine the misfire was on cylinder #7? Did you have the PCM scanned with a scanner capable of reading GM enhanced parameters? Did #7 show up as the only cylinder misfiring? When you scanned it previously to diagnose the misfire, did you have the P0100 code for the AF snesor?

How did you rule out causes like a burned plug wire, bad wire insulation or a faulty spark plug?

Why did you assume you need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and how did you determine that 39psi might solve your problem?

Always the same problem after tune-up ,the shop have a scanner GM, that detect cylinder misfire #7 when hot and 2 poor 02 sensor post-cat .After i changed 2 post-cat and inspect all ,with precautions .No code after this but always a little misfire in #7 !!! After this i decide to change injectors 'my car have 102000 km ' but the guy sell me a kit manufactured 24 lbs/h .When i receive that the paper indicates 24 lbs/h 276 cc/m !!!!!! I have realize this info after all changes !!! Now i have reinstall old injectors with new o'ring and the car don't run better !!! For the rest my informations results of my contacts and mechanics guys !! thks ..toto

The valves are adjusted with the nut that holds the rocker arm on the stud.

Hi ,today i change fuel pressure regulator ,,.The car start good but when i press the gaz !! the car stall !!!!! Also my temp eng. go to high when idle 10 min approx... !!!
