Ok..Everythings done i just cant get that white strainer on the bottom of the bucket...any tips?94 lt1
Also any good way on getting the gas out of the tank?

I have a 1997, and, there is a red wire near the passenger side PCM area. Connect this to 12+, and the fuel pump will run. Thus, you can empty the tank with the fuel delivery line dumping to a gas can.
Also, I had the same problem with white filter (on Walbro 255lph), so, I did not use it. I cut a hole in my rear pan, so, it's easy to remove the fuel sending unit. Last time I had the unit out of the tank, there was some particulate matter held by the fine mesh screen. I cleaned it off. Both pumps still running fine. 97SS/ 383 - FI/ dual Walbro in tank.
