After market injectors with engine mods

Will bigger/better aftermarket injectors boost hp, improve 1/4 times and should I also replace fuel pump same. Have upgraded a 95 LT1 with a Comp Cam kit and have the usual bolt on stuff, OEM aluminim heads, 1.6 rockers, SLP headers, Magnaflow exhaust, MSD ignition, K&N, MAS. Built auto with Vigilante stall. Of course I will have it tuned after install as I probably should since putting in the cam kit. Sure this question has come up before so be patient I'm new and thanks, just need a little mo speed

Larger injectors won't help unless you are making more power than the injectors you have can support. In addition to potential loss of performance, driving the injectors to the point where they are open more than 85% of the time can shorten their life.

A rough guideline to sizing injectors in a normally aspirated engine is to multiply FLYWHEEL HP times 0.07. For example:

400 flywheel HP x 0.07 = 28 #/HR

The LT1 (94-97) has injectors rated at 24.9 #/HR, so until you go over 360 HP at the flywheel, you won't have a problem. Even then, you might not noitice a dramatic affect on performance, but you will start overworking the injectors.
