I'm having a little trouble identifying an AFPR that will fit my 93 Firehawk.
As I understand it, there are four designs for LT1s and the 93 is specific to that year.
I keep seeing parts listed as 93-97 though.
Problem is, I can't tell which ones really fit both (IE: have left and right mount brackets) and which are just typos.

Yes, I understand how the AFPR works
Yes, I have a specific application requiring more than stock FP
Yes, I plan on tuning for it

Although I have seen several setups (including Lethal's) and they do look awesome,
I don't really want to run an external AFPR with AN fittings, the stock lines are more than enough for what I am doing.

 

For example.
My stock FPR looks like this; (tab on left)


While a 94-97 AFPR looks like this; (tab on right)

 

You can buy a kit that replaces the top of your stock FPR.

I saw that one; I really don't like the idea of hacking up an FPR, but it is an option.

I also found one from Holley that claims to fit a 93 but they're backordred for a month.

The only other option I see if running AN fittings and a universal regulator.
My build just doesn't really need something that extensive.

I've been using the Metco one. Its listed here for $62.99. I recall it being pretty easy to convert the stock to a adjustable.

I ended up buying a Kirban billet AFPR. It worked out perfectly.
That unit is discontinued though so tech support and replacement units will be non-existant.
When I contacted Kirban with questions the response was along the lines of "Yeah, we don't make that anymore; Good luck"

 

Just for future reference, any AFPR for a 92-96 LT1 corvette will work for a 93 Camaro. The tab is on the same side.
