Try a "search". Every post I have ever read about the Accel injectors seems to be negative. But I've never used a set, so I don't know how valid those complaints are.

I have been using 24lb accel injectors in my blown 5 litre for 6 years with no problems. I know this doesn't help much with regards to the 30lb but when mine were tested recently they were all as good as the day they were installed.

I've heard more cons then good. There are other aftermarket solutions out there as well besides Accel.

yeah, I know, but I couldn't find them and where to order them from for a good price I had to have injectors for the build, kinda quick, so I order those from summit, I would rather had something else, but summit said they didn't have anything else.........

When looking for parts, why not start with the companies shown in the "Supporting Vendor" list linked at the top of every page? These people know our cars better than most, feature the proven parts, and usually have competetive pricing.

Same here. I used them in all my past cars hitting 100% dc quite a few times until i went larger to feed the need, no issues.

I had them and had 1 stick wide open on me....the car was always hard to start with them also.. Went with Lucas injectors and the car starts easily now and haven't had any problems with them..

I have also heard they hard to tune with...

One of the tuners recommended not getting them and many posts on here say stay away. I went with Lucas and never heard a bad thing about them. I was disappointed with Summit only selling one brand. I had to go to Ebay but only paid $296 shipped for the 42lb ones.

Summit Racing does sell other brands - Ford Racing (SVO), Venom, Bosch and a "house" brand at reasonably competitive prices but you have to look under keyword "injectors" and then under "brands". (They were selling Ford SVO 30# for $299)

well everyone is different but for that size of injectors why don't you hit a sy/ty board and pick some of their used stocker's and have them cleaned? that's what i did minus the cleaning part...
gotta buy 12 to get 8 though.. lol, didn't cost me but $50-100 though.
