Im replacing the Opti on my 95' LT1 and would like to hear some opinions on a coil.....Mine doesnt have any issues but would you guys suggest i change it 130k miles on it......i've done some searching and heard these earlier ones wasnt as good. I checked out summit and found a bunch of aftermarket ones
MSD Blaster,MSD Street Racer,Hypertech,Proform, Moroso and maybe others......It's my DD but im a performance minded person, but reliability is another thing im concerned about........I'd like to here everyones thoughts......Thanks

 

If reliabiltiy is an issue and it is working ok, dont' bother it. An MSD 8226 is a decent replacement, but some had died premature deaths (replaced free if within a year old).
