1998 camaro z28 fuel problems

My 1998 camaro ls1 running is running like ****. It only hold 20 -30psi of pressure. the guy i bought it from said he changed the whole fuel pump assembly. it all looks new. i changed the regulator when i bought the car and it ran fine. all of a sudden it started running like this. i can sit in the car and listen to the fuel pump whine. it gets loud and then quite like it working ti hard. im confused on what the hell to do. i was just thinking of just replacing the whole assembly. i found a 1999 assembly complete from racetonix for 100. but it only has 3 lines instead of the 4 lines that my car has.

Under what conditions are you seeing "20 -30psi of pressure"? Have you checked the fuel filter? Have you checked the fuel pressure regulator? Have you checked the hose connections in the tank to make sure they are not leaking?
