Yes, definately post pics of the mini-tubs!
Made of fiberglass or what? Are the axles shortened at all?

Stealth,

I used to read about your dads progress over on LS1Tech. I seem to remember he had a lot of problems keeping the heads down. Have yall figured out a way around it? If not, what is the advantage of going to a bigger blower? You say it's not making the power it should, but that's not because the blower is maxed out is it? Wouldn't putting a bigger blower on it just increase the parasitic loss of turning the larger unit without gaining any output since you can't up the boost without the heads lifting? I am obviously no expert with all of these questions, just curious. Thanks.

Yea, he's told me he and DRE figured out how to keep the heads clamped down. I'll know more about where the car's design is headed after we get the current setup tuned and racing later this month.

A Z-trim now appears to be a possibility.

Only my Dad can answer that question, but since his Firebird runs 7s . . . Seriously though if you look at the numbers even a z trim probably will not put a 3400 lb car LS1 into the 7s. I think we would need around 1300 rwhp.

A Z-trim has put a few mustangs into the 7s.... running at 3400lbs is extremely dangerous if you are planning on going that fast.. and soon to be illegal with 25.5
