Most kits are setup for 6# non intercooled you would be fine.. although i would pick one up anyway because boost is like crack.

I would say yes. That is because I saw what happened to earlier 5 psi systems from Vortech that were not inter/aftercooled out in the hot southern California summers. One word-"BOOM".

so in BC ill be fine with 6lbs of boost? and aggie i was the one who e miled you about your intercooler so you still wanna talk me outta one? its a daily driver and i really dont want more boost then that. im planning on runnig nitrous with it at the track. so if i was to go with higher boost then i should get one but for now im alright correct?

I would still say no. But what do I know, only that my sc setup last over 95,000 miles and the reason why it went bad was due to the FMU going bad.

no intercooler required here for 6# - but of you plan on going higher then look into getting one

You really wouldn't need it, but it's a good idea. Like the blower in general, you don't NEED it but it's a good idea.

I'm going on (3) years now without one. No problems yet. I do use conservative timing (27 degrees) though.

I would get one. I had one and sold it and now wish I had it back. I am running around 16-18 psi w/ no cooler. I will be purchasing another when I find the right deal.
