where to mount GN intercooler?

looks like ill be going with a GN intercooler for cost reasons, right now im just gathering information. but just wondering where would be a good spot for it? the measurements are:

19 inches at the widest point across the face of the core. 10 inches in vertical height across the core. the height does not include the height of the inlet and outlet piping which is approximately 6 inches greater than the core height. The intercoller is just under 4 inches in thickness

ill be getting bigger inlets welded on as it seems the stock ones are restrictive. just wondering where would be a good spot for it? front mount? im worried about overheating issues, ill also be keeping the AC condensor. has anyone done this? any information would be helpful. the blower is a s trim, i was told that the GN intercooler should be fine up to 12 psi, personally i dont want to go over 10 psi, most likely ill be running 6 psi. thanks for you help

well the turbo buick guys run up to 28 psi on them, the inlets are the part that get restrictive so ill be swappign those out and the most boost id ever want is 8-10. the gn intercooler has about 2-3 psi drop so i should see 6-7 psi of boost. hopefully anyways.

Just put it in front of you radiator thats what my freind did on this 3rd gen.
He went from 11' to high 10s just with the Large intercooler.

hmmm, does he still have the ac condensor though? i want to keep mine and need to clear it, ill look into it, but it may be overkill for my application, what boost is he running? i dont ever plan on goig higher then 9 or 10 psi and im gonna start off at 6, and if im happy with 6 psi ill stick with it. what year duramax intercooler? the newer ones?

The Ford Cummins is an excellent choice .

Do you have a pic of the Grand National IC? Isn't it bottom fed (air) and mounted on the front pass side of the engine on the Grand Nat'ls?

If you can't post it would you please email it to me? rtr350@yahoo.com
