When is step up to billet recommended

When building a FI motor when would one need/want to make the step up to a billet rod, such as an Oliver. Most Forged H beam I have been looking at have a Hp rating of 700-750 Hp. How accurate is this rating and how much above this have people gone? If you exceed this rating are you asking for trouble. Anyone know what the Oliver rods are rated for?

I personally feel the rating of 750 is low as long as you aren't spinning the motor really fast. With a FI motor you can make 750HP+ at pretty low RPM's, 6500 or less. I have eagle H-beam with L-19 bolts and I am shooting for 1000HP but will only turn 6200-6500 with a turbo.

Closr to 900rwhp with Lunati Pro Mod rods. Max rpm is ~6,600. But I am considering upgrading to Oliver or Carillo rods.
