When is beaded intercooler pipe necessary?

I have a procharger P1SC kit for my car and didn't like the intercooler being under the car so I decided to move it to the front. I bought a universal 3" piping kit and have to trim some of the pieces to get it run the way I want so I'm going to lose the bead on some of my ends. My question is do I even need the beads if I'm only pushing about 6PSI and am using t-bolt clamps with short pieces of silicone hose (I.E: no more than 3.5" long)? I'm guessing no but thought I'd ask. thanks

Myles

no not on 6 psi as ling as you have a good clamp and enough pipe. and you can bring them down to any exhaust shop and then can bubble the end out. a local shop dont even charge me for it. i just give the guy 5 bucks for a tip.
