The engine concepts are still the same - if you want more HP & less torque, that means your combo will peak at higher rpms. To support the high rpms, you'll need larger heads, valves, cam, etc, which can get away from the "streetable" end of things. Most turbo people are happy enough with 700+ hp at lower rpms, and don't need to rev the heck out of it. If you do want to spin the rpms for the heck of it, you'll need lighter reciprocating parts, which aren't quite as durable, and can be a bit more expensive. As Brady mentioned, you need goals. If you say "I want 800 rwhp", and everything else doesn't matter, well, that'll be pretty easy to do. If you want 800 hp, run on pump gas, build the engine for $3000 with low-buck parts, get turbos from a junkyard, and fabricate everything yourself, then thats possible too, but will take much more effort to do correctly. A good NA setup will still be a good turbo setup if you drop your compression and change the cam, IMHO. Physics don't really change...
