You had better be comfortable with tools and working on cars. If the most work you've ever done on your car is changing the fluids, you're in for a nightmare.

I bought a used kit and ATI's instructions only helped me relocate my AIR pump (which I deleted by the end of the install). If I were you, I'd look to a local f-body club to see if someone wouldn't mind helping you. It's always helpful to have an extra set of hands and another resource with knowledge of these motors.

This board can be slow at times so I wouldn't count on us being able to answer all of your questions very promptly. Of course, I'll help when I can.

I'll probably get flamed for this. On a basically stock car, you are MUCH MUCH MUCH better off to run nitrous.

It takes a few hours to install, puts less wear and tear on a daily driver (because you don't spray it all the time), you'll run faster, air temperture has less of an effect, yadda yadda

Bolt-on LT1s in my car club are running high 11s on 100 shot and mid 11s with 150 shot.

what now im lost, my car only has 24k on it, and its not a daily driver, until the summer months, but it is mostly stock, with couple of mods, but i thought i was safe to install a sc starting with 6psi, and working my way up

Be ready for anything. I dont think any boost is safe on stock lt1.
